Ruach for Recess

Davis Academy students have a very special kind of ruach ("spirit"). They're full of life, energy, and creativity. Today I happened to wander out to 3rd grade recess with my guitar. Before long a group of students had joined me in creating a song which we call, perhaps unsurprisingly, "The Recess Song." I don't think you'll be hearing it on XM radio anytime soon, but hopefully it will put a smile on your face. It's fun to think of the kids in this video looking back on this moment when they're older. Maybe it will help them appreciate the joyful and unique experience of being at The Davis Academy.
