Davis Academy Middle School Elul Reflections

The month of Elul continues and with it we continue to delight in these thoughtful reflective pieces written by Davis Academy Middle School students to help promote our individual and communal reflection...

"Question"
- Chloe L.

There aren’t many things that will get your further in life than asking questions.
You are not limited to asking questions based on confusion,
but rather generosity, sympathy, and knowledge.
Nobody is brought into this world knowing everything.
Questions can be the answer.

"Question"
- Phillip W.

Ask the question you think would change the world.
Asking questions can effect the outcome of anything.
Most people ask simple questions such as, "What day is it today?"
But we all need to ask the tough questions that can change the world.
All the people who have changed the world so far have asked those tough questions.
Now don't hold back,
Change the world.

"Judge"
- Audra B.

We shouldn't judge anyone by any means.
We shouldn't care about the color of their skin.
If it's different than ours, who cares?
Or,
Who should care?
We shouldn't judge people by what they wear.
Maybe they're less fortunate than us, but who should care what people wear?
We should care if people are less fortunate, but we shouldn't judge them.
We should help them.
Judging people won't get us anywhere but further away
from a world filled with peace.

"Change"
- Isaac G.

Can you change the world?
Can I change the world?
Can we change the world?
If we work together and show some effort then yes, we can.
Help renovate the world in your own way.
