Maker Monday meets Community Service

Maker Monday, led by our 21st century learning specialist, Stacy Brown, is a highlight for the many kids that choose to participate in this learning activity during their recess time. An endless font of creativity, Stacy Brown draws upon her vast expertise and passion to design learning experiences that wed technologies with our Menschlichkeit Values. For the first Maker Monday of the 18-19 school year students had a chance to make "light up" pill boxes that will be donated to a local senior living center. Participating students put a lot of ruach (spirit) into their pill boxes and a good time was had by all. The best part is that their efforts are in service of others.
