Davis 1st Graders Love a Good Party

For many years The Davis Academy's 1st graders have partnered with the William Bremen Jewish Home and the Cohen Home. Through this partnership Davis Academy students learn the importance of honoring our elders. The regularly scheduled visits between Davis students and the residents are joyful, celebratory, and uplifting for all involved. Most recently our students had the honor of providing decorations for the Cohen Home's annual themed dinner. As it coincided with the Sochi Winter Olympics, Davis students enjoyed making these Olympic themed decorations. The dinner was a huge hit and our 1st graders are glad to have played a small part! Said one student, "It made me feel happy to visit The Cohen Home because we made people smile. "
