4th Grade Valuing Kehilah
I bounced upstairs for a quick moment and saw a student wrapped in blue "holiday" lights. Why? She and her 4th grade classmates were decorating their classroom in order to welcome a new student to their class on Monday.
Across the hall, in another 4th grade classroom, students had brought in flowers, cards, and other treats in honor of one of their teacher's birthdays.
Kehilah (community) exists in these and countless other sacred moments. Stumbling upon these organic expressions of Kehilah made my day.
